Abstract: Objective To investigate the effects of informed nursing on the therapy compliance and life quality
of patients with primary hepatic carcinoma. Methods Total of 112 patients with primary hepatic carcinoma
from February 2013 to September 2014 in Shenzhen Third People’s Hospital were selected and divided into
observation group and control group, 56 cases in each group. The control group were given confidential
nursing mode and the observation group were given informed nursing mode. Therapy compliance and life
quality were compared between the two groups. Results The rate of treatment compliance, the treatment
adverse cognitive degree, the treatment completion, the reliance degree of the nurse, and the nursing
satisfaction were 92.86%, 82.14%, 96.43%, 94.64%, 94.64% in observation group, respectively, which were
significantly higher than those of the control group (χ 2 = 4.667, 5.397, 10.500, 5.224, 4.264, P = 0.035, 0.030,
0.000, 0.032, 0.037). Life vitality, emotional ability, social ability, mental health and quality of life scores
in observation group were significantly higher than those of control group (t = 7.145, 5.887, 4.794, 9.886,
P = 0.014, 0.021, 0.036, 0.000). Conclusion Informed nursing can help to improve the cognition of disease
related knowledge, the therapy compliance, the life quality and nursing satisfaction of the patients.
