Abstract: Objective To analyze the efficacy of sclerotherapy in treatment of esophageal variceal bleeding
patients with autoimmune hepatitis and liver cirrhosis. Methods Four patients of autoimmune hepatitis
and decompensated liver cirrhosis complicated with esophageal varices bleeding in Zhangzhou Municipal
Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University from 2012 to 2014 were analyzed. All the patients were given
endoscopic sclerotherapy. Results Rebleeding occurred in all patients, two of whom occured within three
days, one was in one week later and another in one months later. Conclusion Sclerotherapy has poor effects
in treatment of sophageal variceal bleeding patients with autoimmune hepatitis and liver cirrhosis.
