Abstract: Acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF) is a clinical manifestation of acute liver failure in chronic
liver disease. At present, the comprehensive treatment of internal medicine is the main method. However, the
value of glucocorticoids in treatment of HBV-ACLF is controversial. In this paper, we reported the successful
treatment of one case of HBV-ACLF (metaphase) with anti-infection and anti-HBV therapy combined with
glucocorticoid in our hospital, which is for clinical reference.
